The country called on the international community to intensify all efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace
On the heels of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announcing the eight principles of Dubai governance, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, gave his full support and marked his enthusiasm for his father's powerful statement.
"May God preserve you Your Highness, protect you from all harm and maintain you as a keeper, bulwark, and steadfast wise leader of the nation.
"Your principles are our principles, your priorities are our priorities, and your guidance is our vision.
"We pledge to honour these principles in all times and circumstances.
He concluded the post: "I call on all government bodies to pledge their allegiance to these principles, to following them at all times, to implementing them always, and to practice them under all circumstances."
Less than an hour later, Dubai Police honoured the call and pledged their allegiance to the principles:
