Student jumps to death from 15th floor in Sharjah

Sharjah - The 10th grade Indian student returned from the school, dropped her bag, went straight to the balcony and committed suicide.

A 14-year-old Indian girl jumped to death from the balcony of her family apartment in Al Nahda area of Sharjah on Sunday.
The girl was a 10th grade student at a school located in Muwailih.
The police, who rushed to the site after receiving a call in the afternoon about the incident, found the teenager identified as M.Z. in a pool of blood, already dead.
According to the police, the girl who returned from the school dropped her bag, went straight to the balcony of the 15th floor apartment and committed suicide.
The mother was at home when the incident happened. When she came out of her room, she found the girl's bag and the balcony open.
The shocked mother told the police that the teenager had no problem and her condition was normal.
The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the suicide and taken into custody many people, including her teachers, for interrogation.
