Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence teams in collaboration with the Public Services Department, rescued two camels from a deep sewage hole in RAK's Al Dagdaga neighbourhood, late Thursday night.
Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, Director General of Civil Defense Department of Ras Al Khaimah said the Operations Room was notified that two camels had fallen in the deep pit, after which rescue teams were dispatched to the site of the incident.
"The Department had immediately called for a crane from the Public Services Department, which rushed to the scene along with the Civil Defence teams.
"The latter tied the two animals before they were pulled out safely from the hole", he added.
