Misty morning leads to accidents, vehicle pile-up on Dubai-Sharjah road

Motorists are advised to undertake caution while driving during the mornings with fog/mist

Mist and fog in the early hours of the morning caused accidents and multiple car pile on the Dubai - Sharjah road.
Heavy fog engulfed some parts of Emirates this morning. The NCMS shared notification about fog formation in these areas.

Multiple accidents were reported owing to the thick fog. Dubai Police tweeted about several vehicles colliding on the street at Khawaneej exit. Although it has been cleared now, it could still take you over an hour to reach Dubai from Sharjah.

Traffic continues on Al Wahda street and you will experience heavy traffic on Dubai-Sharjah Toll road.

In Dubai, expect delay on Al Sa'ada street, Financial centre road, World Trade Centre roundabout. If taking the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed road, you might have to brace yourself as the road is heavily clogged all the way through Maliha road.
