A healthcare centre has been set up at the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) to facilitate residency visa application procedures for its community members.
The Emirates Medical Fitness, operated in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), will provide more than 8,000 people working in the DHCC and their families quick and easy residency visa application services, including medical fitness tests.
As a result of a collaboration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai), customers will also be able to finalise their visa application process at the centre, reducing time and effort to complete the procedures.
"The collaboration with the DHA and the GDRFA-Dubai will allow those working in the free zone to carry out residency visa application procedures under one roof, a few minutes away from their workplace," said Dr Raja Easa Al Gurg, vice-chairperson and group CEO, Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
The centre, which can accommodate 100 customers per day, will conduct medical fitness tests required for the visa application within 15 minutes and their application will be finalised within a few days. Located in the Ibn Sina Complex (building 27), the centre will operate from 8am to 3pm, Sundays to Thursdays.
