Staff Report / 10 October 2012

Dubai Duty Free conducted a Finest Surprise draw directly after the Millennium Millionaire and announced winners of the luxury cars and a motorbike.

The highlight of the day was the draw for a glitzy McLaren MP4 12-C Coupe (Volcano Orange), which was won by Saleh Madkhali, a Saudi national.

The 25-year-old student of Kentucky University, US, could hardly take it in when he received a call from Dubai Duty Free informing him of the win.

The lucky winner exclaimed: “I’ve never thought that I could win such a beautiful car! I purchased the ticket when I saw the car displayed at Dubai Duty Free and made a wish that I would once drive it. I still cannot believe that I am an owner of a brand new McLaren!”

Another winner was Arvind Josih, a Singaporean national from Dubai who won a Mercedes Benz S500 (Obsidian Black) in Series No. 1503 with ticket No. 0166. A sporty Ducati Superbike 848 Evo was drawn along with two luxury cars and the winner was Bomsi Jamshed Wadia, an Indian national from Bombay.  A presentation was made to the previous Finest Surprise winners who were equally delighted to receive their prizes.

Nandakumar Palakurshi received his Mercedes Benz S500 while another winner Fuad Cochinwala received a Porsche Panamera 4. Mohammed Jawad Ali Khan received a Ducati Hypermotard 1100 Evo.
