His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited this evening Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) and toured its different sections.Shaikh Mohammed was accompanied during his tour by Dubai Deputy Ruler Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and other senior officials. He was received by Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh, Director of the Media Office of Dubai Government & Managing Director of DMI and the staff of TV and Radio channels.
Shaikh Mohammed was briefed on the DMI’s development strategy which focuses on building capabilities of Emirati media professionals
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated the main state-of-the-art news studio at DMI. He toured the studio, which is considered the biggest and the most advanced in the Middle East, and listened to a briefing on DMI’s developmental plans.
