The International Academy of Arts & Sciences and Pyramedia, an Abu Dhabi-based media and television production company, for the third consecutive year, will be hosting one of the semi-final judging sessions for the 40th International Emmy Awards in Abu Dhabi, September 2012.
The judging panel will be hosted at twofour54, Abu Dhabi’s media and entertainment hub. The judging panel will consist of 12 of the region’s most prominent content producers and media specialists, according to a press release by Pyramedia.
“The Academy’s interest in holding judging panels in Abu Dhabi annually among the select locations worldwide is a clear indication of the Abu Dhabi government’s success in advancing the local media and film industry, and enhancing the Emirate’s status globally,” Pyramedia CEO and Board Member, Nashwa Al Ruwaini said.
Over the past three years, the judging panels Pyramedia organized in Abu Dhabi have hosted over 50 judges from different disciplines of television and film production from the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf and Europe.
