In this digital age, you no longer need to go through dozens of legal books to understand a particular law or constitutional amendment, nor do you have to consult a lawyer to figure out details about any legal provisions. All you require is a smart application on your mobile phone to get what you want while seated in your office or home.
Those who use the 'UAE Legislations App' may thus agree how easy it is to browse the smart application to gain access to legal information instantly and effectively.
This application, which was launched by the UAE Cabinet in October 2014, has already become a major digital platform for federal legislations.
The launch of the application is aligned with the government's strategy to provide the best services to customers in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to develop smart services based on the latest technologies to meet the needs of the people.
The 'UAE Legislations App', which can be downloaded from Google Play and App Store, has proved to be highly beneficial to customers in government and private sectors, as well as for legal and media professionals, researchers and anyone looking for information related to federal legislation.
The application includes an e-database of the most important federal legislations in the UAE since the country's founding in 1971.
The content covers 270 legislations and has been divided to 21 sections, including the full text of the UAE Constitution, the personal status law, and legislations on penal and civil law as well as those related to areas such as commercial, financial, investment, human resources, education and research, and social security and pensions. It also includes amendments to these legislations.
