Emiratis in Turkey to remain indoors, travel advisory issued

Ankara - UAE nationals have been advised to cancel travel plans to Turkey.

The UAE Embassy in Ankara and its Consulate in Istanbul have urged all UAE nationals currently in Turkey to stay in their residences and away from public areas due to the current state of emergency being observed.
Citizens have also been encouraged to communicate with the embassy and the consulate for their own safety.
In addition, the embassy urged UAE nationals wishing to travel to Turkey in the coming days to cancel their plans until the situation is made clear.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is currently coordinating with the embassy and consulate to put in place safe channels of communication with citizens.
