UAE traffic: Bus fire causes congestion along SZR

Dubai's major thoroughfares are packed with heavy traffic especially along Shaikh Zayed Road in the area adjacent Tecom and Al Barsha, there has been two reported accidents in the area.



One of the report accidents occurred near the Dubai Internet City Metro Station where a bus caught fire. Rescue teams are already on the scene. Traffic is moving slowly along the accident area.

Hessa Street is quickly piling up also and motorists. Motorists, especially those who travel between the emirates are advised to steer clear of Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road as super heavy traffic is happening along the road between Dubai Sports City and the DIP roundabout.
UPDATE: Hessa Street is in a difficult traffic condition. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes and avoid Hessa Street altogether.




Sharjah drivers meanwhile can expect to face congestion on S112 Maliha Road as an accident occurred earlier in the area.
