Shaikh Mohammed seeks ideas on Year of Reading

Dubai - Shaikh Mohammed asked the public to post their ideas using the hashtag (#yearofreading).

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has invited the public to submit their ideas and contribute to 2016 - the Year of Reading.
In a series of Twitter posts on Monday, Shaikh Mohammed asked the public to post their ideas using the hashtag (#yearofreading).
He said the most significant ideas will be debated by the '100 retreat' which is a group of 100 most important UAE national figures.
"Brothers and sisters . since the announcement that the President named the 2016 the Year of Reading in the UAE, we have been receiving lots of ideas and views to fulfill such an objective," he said.
"We need you to storm your brains and post your ideas on #yearofreading for the most significant ideas through which we could make reading a popular and societal habit in our society."
"We will be discussing all ideas that we receive at the #yearofreading. And we shall hold a retreat (assembly) to meet with 100 most important national figures concerned in discussing these ideas .We have called it the 'one hundred retreat."
