His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has offered condolences to the family of martyred Emirati serviceman Saeed Anbar Juma Al Falasi.
Al Falasi had succumbed to injuries he received while participating in 'Operation Restoring Hope' being conducted in Yemen by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition. Al Falasi was receiving treatment at a hospital in France. While visiting the mourning majlis in Al Wasl area, Shaikh Mohammed extended his heartfelt condolences to the martyr's father and sons.
He expressed his pride and appreciation of the Emiratis who are immortalising the meaning of noble sacrifice, courage and acts of champions, as well as being role models of loyalty and belonging to the values instilled by their forefathers.
"Emiratis will always be ready to answer the call of duty through their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland," he said.
He also said the pride of the families of martyrs "represents a candlelight that leads the way towards a brighter future and more progress for the UAE".
Shaikh Mohammed was accompanied by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.-
