Concerns are growing for Dubai teacher, Kirsty McLaughlin, who was last seen leaving her apartment at noon on October 9.
Missing for over 24 hours, Kirsty was last seen leaving AB Plaza 6 residential tower in Tecom.
On Monday afternoon, friends of the missing Scottish expatriate set up the Facebook Page, 'Please Help Find Kirsty McLaughlin' so people could share information on the missing woman.
A friend's post read: "She has been missing for over 24 hours with no phone or passport and hasn't used her bank cards."
The post continued: "Her car is a white VW Beetle, registration M87740."

At about 6.15pm on Monday, one Facebook user wrote:
"On the entrance to Victory Heights this evening, there was a white VW Beetle with a breakdown truck behind it. It was the entrance coming in the back from the end of Al Fay Road."
But details remain as to whether the vehicle has been confirmed as Kirsty's.
Described as around 5 ft 5 inches tall and 26 years old, Kirsty has been in Dubai for several years.
Her partner, Mitch Joseph Wall, who is currently in Houston, Texas posted a heartwarming plea on his personal Facebook page from the states.
"Please come home my love. No one is going to be mad, no one is going to shout at you, we all just want to know you are safe and sound. I love you xx"
After posting a picture of Kirsty next to the Beetle she was last seen in, Wall continued:
"If you see it at any mall, petrol station or on any of the roads in Dubai please report it to the police. She doesn't have her phone with her, was last seen Sunday leaving exact same building the picture shows in said car."
Kirsty plays rugby for a local team called the Dubai Wasps.
According to her profile on www.myprivatetutor.ae, she teaches English, Maths and Science, though the name of the school she teaches in has not yet been identified.
However her profile does say taught for a year and a half in her hometown of Greenock, Scotland before moving to Dubai several years ago.
Hundreds of people have been sharing and commenting on the FB page and posts of the missing woman have been doing the rounds on social media.
One resident, Jovana Stojanovic, suggested: "Check with RTA if this car plate has crossed any toll gates, salik, any parking fee paid, something like that. Maybe that would lead to some directions."
To which one friend, Kristofer McNab, responded saying her last Salik reading was at 3pm on Sunday.
When Khaleej Times contacted Dubai Police on Monday afternoon they confirmed that no report had yet been filed on the missing woman. But later, at 5.24pm one of her friends posted on Facebook:  "Police are now actively searching for Kirsty and are taking her case very seriously. We will find her.
