As visitors from all over the world arrive in Dubai to enjoy exceptional shopping experiences during the ongoing 21st edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the emirate is dressed for the occasion. Visitors will be welcomed into a festive atmosphere as they begin to 'Unwrap The Exceptional' during DSF 2016. They will be able to experience Emirati hospitality and share the festive cheer through a network of city illuminations and décor.
Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), which is organising DSF 2016, has ensured that citywide decorations during DSF 2016 help make residents and tourists feel "welcome and happy" during the festival's month-long celebrations. The growth of the festival has inspired these new decorations.
City decorations have been a part of the DSF experience from its very first edition in 1996, and this year is no different. The decorations featuring colourful lighting systems and a variety of decorative material cover Shaikh Zayed Road, Dubai World Trade Centre area, entrance to Dubai airports, Al Rigga Street and other areas.
