The Dubai Police General HQ recently added six new Audi R8 and Audi Q7 cars to its supercar patrol fleet as part of their efforts to reach out to UAE residents on traffic safety.
The new police patrol cars were announced when Lt.-General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, received Ali Al Nabooda, general manager Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles, and the accompanying delegation from Audi Middle East at Dubai Police General Headquarters.
Al Mazeina said the police have always sought, through the introduction its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate.
"This comes in the context of the commitment of the Dubai Police HQ and Al Nabooda Automobiles together to raise awareness among young drivers, and improve standards of traffic and public safety."
The new Audi R8 is the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built. The 5.2 litre V10 enables breathtaking performance.
