His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has instructed the distribution of thank-you certificates bearing his signature to 50,000 students in the UAE who have successfully completed reading 50 books in the school year as part of the Arab Reading Challenge Project.
The Arab Reading Challenge Project saw the participation of more than 160,000 students from 828 schools in the UAE, whose students have completed reading 5 million books during the school year.
Shaikh Mohammed began signing and distributing the first 15 certificates himself to outstanding students within the project in the UAE, in the presence of HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, HH Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and other officials.
