Dubai - The students had an opportunity to visit and study a wide range of architectural and interior design typologies which included a streetscape study of Orchard Street along with the new Facebook HQ office.

 Architecture and interior design students from Amity University Dubai have returned from a truly exceptional educational tour of Singapore. The tour aims to act as a catalyst for the students to reflect in their own work; current design practices in Singapore - a form of rite of passage that will become an integral part of the work carried out by these young creative Amitians.
The students had an opportunity to visit and study a wide range of architectural and interior design typologies which included a streetscape study of Orchard Street along with the new Facebook HQ office. During the trip, students also interacted with design students at the prestigious National University of Singapore. Dr Vajahat Hussain, CEO, Amity Education, said: "We at Amity University Dubai are committed to revolutionising education by aligning theory and practical studies."
With students from 43 diverse nationalities across 34 career focused programs at UG and PG levels, faculty at Amity University Dubai strives at providing education that can be intellectually engaging. Understanding the global approach of any disciplines of higher education gives students holistic knowledge on the subject."
Jannice Chiru (student, Bsc. Interior Design) commented, "This trip has been one of our best learning experiences and we look forward to more such educational tours & exposures. Singapore has managed to flourish with its architectural developments without losing its strong connection with nature. I believe this trip is a great start to my studies at Amity University Dubai.
