Video: Dubai Civil Defence rescues trapped kitten in 2-hour operation

The kitten fell into a 7 meter well with a narrow 15cm diameter opening

In yet another example to showcase their dedication towards work beyond duty, Dubai Civil Defence rescued a kitten from a 7 meter well in a two-hour long operation.
The team received a distress call regarding the kitten stuck in a 7 meter well and immediately set out to its rescue. Getting the kitten out was challenging as the upper part of the well was a narrow 15 cm diameter pipe, surrounded by sand.
To rescue the cat, a pipe was pushed in for ventilation and prevention of sand collapse from the surrounding area. The cat was then expertly picked up by a rope, tied around the cat.
