Dubai Metro back on track after technical glitch

The red line is running on schedule without any disruptions

If you take the Dubai Metro on your way to work, you must have noticed the delay in the red line today morning. There was a delay of at least 15 to 20 minutes on the route towards UAE Exchange.
Khaleej Times has now learnt that the technical glitch seems to have sorted as metro has returned to normalcy. Khaleej Times went to the metro stations to get an update and this is what we found.

In the morning, the RTA helpline had confirmed about the technical glitch. "There is a technical issue on the red line after Burjuman and the team is working on fixing it. The work is on and we can't don't have a timeline yet on how long it will take for the Dubai Metro to be smooth running."
But everything seems to be back on track now. 
Twitter was flooded with tweets by travellers complaining about the delay. The RTA hasn't shared any updates on their official social media accounts.
"RTA regrets the inconvenience caused to Dubai metro users this morning due to a technical issue with one of the trains where in services were disrupted for 45mins," said Mohammed Almudhareb, RTA director of rail operations.
