The help was given after the UAE government granted royal pardon to about 2,000 prisoners, out of which 442 were Pakistani prisoners in Dubai and the northern emirates.
The consulate also facilitated Pakistan Association Dubai in contributing 75 air tickets at the cost of Dh26,250 to 75 pardoned prisoners, and also appreciated the efforts of the community for playing their due role in this noble cause.
The consulate also expressed gratitude to the UAE government and jail authorities for pardoning 442 Pakistani prisoners for celebrating Eid Al Fitr with their loved ones in Pakistan.
