The wait is over as Legoland Water Park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region's largest integrated theme park destination in the region, opened the gates to the Middle East's only water park specifically designed for families with children aged 2-12.
Visitors enjoyed Legoland Water Park's 20 water slides and attractions on opening day, each offering a different and fun-soaked experience for the whole family to appreciate.
Highlights include the highly anticipated Build-A-Raft River, where families customise their own raft using LEGO soft bricks, before floating down a lazy river. Continuing the interactive fun, Build-A-Boat invites children to build their boat model using countless LEGO bricks before testing their design against the gentle flow of water in a 10 metre river.
There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy together, such as Red Rush where they can ride together in a family-sized raft down a 312-foot-long curving track on an 11-foot in diameter half pipe. Other highlights include the Wave Pools, Joker Soaker water playground and an abundance of water slides.
Legoland Water Park also features a designated area especially for toddlers with four small slides and interactive DUPLO animals with water features at the DUPLO Splash Safari.
Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of Legoland Dubai said: "Following our launch of Legoland Dubai on October 31, we are delighted to open the Middle East's first Water Park specifically designed for families with children aged 2-12. We are committed to offering memorable experiences and we look forward to welcoming families from the region and across the globe to experience awesome days soaked with adventure and fun."
Legoland Water Park also offers a full range of amenities, including dining and retail outlets, changing rooms, cabanas, guest services, first aid and prayer rooms.
Legoland Water Park is located next to Legoland Dubai, the ultimate world of LEGO adventures for families with children aged 2-12, which opened on October 31, 2016. Together, the two parks feature over 60 interactive rides, water slides and attractions.
Legoland Water Park day tickets start at Dh205 for children and seniors and Dh240 for adults. Guests also have the option for the two park combo tickets for Dh350 children/395 adults. The annual two-park combo pass for Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park is priced at Dh995, with the annual pass for Legoland Dubai only priced at Dh765.
