Leaving UAE after having lived here for over 26 years, this would have been one such moment for Dubai-based Indian national S.J. Fernandes, who struck her luck in Series no. 225 winning a cool $1 million with ticket no. 3161, which she purchased online on August 24.
The 50-year old accountant had lived in the UAE for over 16 years and had moved back to southeast Asia with her husband two years ago, Dubai Duty Free said on its website.
Extremely delighted and thankful of her win, Fernandez is looking forward to visiting Dubai Duty Free to collect her cheque, the website said.
