The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has issued an alert for the financial services community and the public about false claims made by Mr David Harding and Harding Capital Group.
The regulatory body said Mr Harding might be living in the country and robbing investors by offering fake investment products or other financial services.
"The DFSA believes that Mr Harding may reside in the UAE, and may be offering financial and investment services through Harding Capital Group. Mr Harding claims to be the Managing Director of Harding Capital Group," the regulatory authority said in a statement sent to Khaleej Times.
The DFSA noted that Harding Capital Group does not have, and has never had, offices in the DIFC; and has never been licensed by the DFSA.
It advised residents and investors that they should not communicate with Mr Harding, or anyone from the Harding Capital Group, and under no circumstances should you send any money to him or to the Harding Capital Group.
The regulatory body issues potential warning and alerts to protect investors from defrauding and safeguard their interests.
