Mr. Piao Ma, a Dutch national from Gelderland will be pleasantly surprised when he finds out that he just became the latest US$1 million winner in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Promotion in Series 248 with ticket no. 1722. Mr Ma, who purchased his winning ticket online from dubaidutyfree.com, is currently not available for comment.
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, two more lucky winners were announced today (Tuesday) in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion.
Luck was on Mr. Vijay Bhatia's side, an Indian-national based in Dubai, who won a Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe in Series 1659 with ticket no. 1233. Mr. Bhatia, a 40-year-old banker, is a regular participant of the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise promotion. He received the news while enjoying his summer holiday in London with his family.
Another winner who will also be delighted to hear the good news is Mr. Uvaisudeen, an Indian-national living in Dubai who won a BMW S 1000 RR bike in Series 309 with ticket no. 442.
Today's draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free officials headed by Ramesh Cidambi - Chief Operating Officer, Nic Bruwer - Executive Vice President - Commercial, Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President - Marketing, Sean Staunton - Senior Vice President - Retail Sales and Michael Schmidt, Senior Vice President - Retail Support in the presence of passengers and staff of Dubai International Airport in Concourse A.
