There was no escaping the start of the foggy season in Dubai as residents could barely see two feet in front of them as thick fog covered the city on Thursday morning.
Thick fog engulfed parts of UAE as the National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS), reported about fog over Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

The morning will be similar over the coming weekend and you can expect a foggy/misty start.
The weather department issued a weather warning about fog and poor visibility over some central and western areas. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution.

The forecast for today is hot in general during daytime, mild by night while being partly cloudy and hazy at times, the NCMS said.
The clouds will form over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times during afternoon, it said.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.

Maximum temperatures will surge to 44°C inland, with lows of 17°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
