Massive fire destroys a textile warehouse in Ajman

Ajman - Cooling operations which began at 9:00pm continued until morning.

The Ajman civil defence had managed to control a massive fire which completely gutted a textile warehouse in the Ajman industrial area on Tuesday. No casualties have been reported.

Speaking to Khaleej Times, Col Nasser Al Zeri, spokesperson of the Ajman Civil Defence said it took five hours for fire fighters to douse the fire as the warehouse contained flammable material.
Cooling operations which began at 9:00pm continued until morning.
The site has been handed over to forensic experts who have already begun investigations.
Col Nasser Al Zeri urged the owner of the factories to follow proper storing procedures to protect lives the loss of the properties.
