A second day of fun-filled live family entertainment raised the heartbeats of the nation's capital as thousands once again enjoyed the unique energy of the Yasalam Festival.
With barely time to draw breath the high speed action continued across the city following an incredible opening night to kick-start the live entertainment of the eighth annual Yasalam, the region's biggest event.
The weekend already has seen 10,000 fans get the party started with Pitbull at the du Arena, Yas Island while over 30,000 flocked to witness the live performances of Filipino sensation Yeng Constantino, Krept & Konan, and local performer Shamma Hamdan and S.O.S for the Beats on the Beach on Abu Dhabi's Corniche.
On Friday the carnival atmosphere of the ultimate weekend festival went into full throttle with more entertainment, more family activities, more to see and do, all ahead of more incredible live music.
In the build up to another world-class line-up of stars performing free on the Corniche, families gathered early to enjoy everything from the F1 Fanzone bringing the rush of the ultimate F1 fan experience to the beach, to the Urban Art Zone brought to you by Yas Mall, complete with interactive workshops and impressive art displays and the all-new Bounce Experience on the beach.
On Yas Island, the Heritage Plaza, was clearly the place to be for race-goers and festival fans searching for an authentic Emirati cultural experience. This open-air space was filled with visitors sampling local hospitality, heritage and culture. The race will be held at Yas Marina Circuit from Friday, 25 November to Sunday, 27 November.
