The UAE's capital is set to host first ever Pakistan Property Exhibition later this month to attract international and Pak expatriates to invest in the real estate sector.
Abu Dhabi will host the expo as part of the International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS 2015) that is set to run from October 29 to 31 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec). The exhibition will convene developers, real estate advisers, private and institutional dealers from the Middle East, Europe and Asia Pacific regions under one roof.
Antoine Georges, managing director of Dome Exhibitions, organiser of IREIS 2015, said: "The exhibition will offer investors and end users an ideal platform to discover the investment opportunities in Pakistan and network with major players within the promising real estate market across the nation."
The value of Pakistan real estate market is estimated to be in the range of $200 billion and $400 billion, with overseas Pakistanis investing approximately nearly $3 billion - or 15 to 20 per cent of the last fiscal year's total remittances - into the real estate market. Pakistan received $18.4 billion in remittances during financial year 2014-15.
Qamar Chaudhary, associate partner and chief executive of Mass Com Solutions, said Pakistan Property Exhibition will particularly spotlight the opportunities in the country's bourgeoning real estate markets.
"The exhibition will seek to convince visitors about the advantages of purchasing and investing in property in Pakistan, providing them with a better picture about the prevailing condition and trends in the market." - muzaffarrizvi@khaleejtimes.com
