Syed Asif Abbas was the wrecker-in-chief as Multiplex International registered their third consecutive victory by routing G Force Cricket Academy by nine wickets in the Dulsco Ramadan Cricket Tournament.
After put into bat G Force Academy scored 91-9 in 20 overs. Multiplex International rattled the runs in the eighth over for the loss of just one wicket to make a strong claim for a place in the knock-out stage.
G Force Academy were reduced to three for 0 in the first over, Syed Asif Abbas claiming all the three wickets. S. Abbas finished with figures of 4-14 and was later adjudged the man-of-the-match. Divenydu Shekhar (17) and Hrithik Bhatia (32 off 26 balls, 6x2, 4x1) provided a late thrust as G Force Academy finished on 91-9 in 20 overs.
When the run chase started, Multiplex International lost Aklaq Butt (14) with the score reading 31. But Ali Zeeshan (38not out off 20 balls, 6x3, 4x2) and Haroon Ahmed (40 not out off 17 balls, 6x4, 4x3) had no trouble whatsoever as they hit the ball all over the park to seal victory in 7.5 overs.
