School Fee for Children of Mosque Staff

ABU DHABI - The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments has decided to set up a committee to disburse school fees for children of foreign personnel working at mosques who are entitled to education allowance.

The committee will also calibrate the beneficiaries and the total costs and recommend solutions thereof.

Dr Mattar Salim Al Ka’abi, director of the Authority, said the gesture is part of the Authority’s care for childrenof its staff.

“The move is aimed at lifting the burden of these fees off the shoulder of those employees to enable them to take care of the educational affairs of their children and improve their living conditions,” he said while presiding over the tenth monthly meeting of directors of departments at the Authorityon Thursday.

He added that meeting discussed the requirements of roadside mosques in terms of maintenance, cleaning and air-conditioners.
