DUBAI — The Dubai police and a money exchange employee foiled an attempt by three men to steal Dh2million on Tuesday afternoon in Karama.

Two employees of a money exchange in Karama were carrying a bag containing the money when three men stunned them by jumping out of a nearby car, spraying chilli powder in their faces and snatching the bag.

One of the employees, despite the pain in his eyes, ran after the gang and caught one of the men and the bag.

Two others fled.

Police arrived and arrested the man that was caught and recovered the money.
