Marwan bin Ghalita was on Saturday elected as the new President of the UAE Football Association for the next four year.
The Former Al Nasr chairman ended Yousuf Al Serkal's reign as the UAE FA President with a 19-15 victory in the UAE FA elections held at the Abu Dhabi National Archive Centre.
Al Serkal was seeking his third term. He first took over as the UAE FA chief in 2004 but stepped down in 2007 after the National team's Gulf Cup exit. He, however, comfortably won the 2012 elections.
Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi and Saeed Obaid Al Tunaiji were elected as the Vice President.
