Boutique resort in capital

HOTEL MAYA KUALA LUMPUR

SITUATED in the heart of Malaysia’s capital city, Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur is more than just a hotel. This Malaysian owned and managed “boutique urban resort” delivers more than comfort and convenience in a strategic location.
“The main characteristic of a boutique hotel is to cater to guests’ needs for privacy and their wishes to be away from crowded areas. The hotel’s focus is on entertaining guests by creating an atmosphere that attracts all senses, through contemporary yet natural design, coupled with specially crafted services that provide convenience to discerning travellers,” says I Z Melvin, General Manager of Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur.

Guest rooms are located within naturally ventilated and lifted atriums within the 22 storey building, which allow natural light and ventilation to permeate all the guest rooms. The hotel has a total of 207 rooms — 100 studios and 107 suites, most of which enjoy unobstructed views of either the Petronas Twin Towers or KL Tower.
Checking in is done in the rooms and can be done as early as 7 a.m. with prior arrangement. All rooms enjoy 24 hours Butler Service. Butlers cater to guest’s needs including pressing, shoe polishing, drawing of essential oil baths, and making hot beverages in the room.
Guests have a choice of three eateries in the hotel — The Maya Brasserie, Still Waters restaurant and  Ramah Tamah deli, all located on Level 1 of the hotel. For lighter moments guests can enjoy the Lobby Lounge which is tucked away and provides a relaxing and cozy atmosphere for in-house and walk-in guests. It’s an ideal place to enjoy drinks and snacks, which is accompanied by our lively entertainers every evening.
Maya Brasserie offers both ala carte selections and a wide array from the buffet spread. In the evenings, it serves traditional Nyonya cuisine. For a quick coffee break, one can head for Ramah Tamah deli which serves gourmet sandwiches and mouth-watering cakes.
The Japanese outlet, Still Waters, provides contemporary dining known as “Sosaku” or modern Japanese cuisine. This is mainly Japanese cuisine with influences from Australia, Thailand and other parts of the world.
To relax and unwind, guests and members can head to Anggun Spa. The hotel pool, located at the spa is Kuala Lumpur’s only hydrotherapy pool with water jets to massage the body. The Spa provides massages and various healing therapies. There is also a fully equipped gymnasium, yoga and aerobic studio. Focusing on smaller and more intimate meetings, the ballroom can accommodate up to 300 persons, which can also be subdivided into three separate function areas and 6 smaller meeting rooms in various sizes are also available to cater for specific requirements. For smaller meetings, a 12-seat executive boardroom with video-conferencing facilities is located adjacent to the Sky Lounge
