Raw Materials:
> 500g clams, cleaned
> 2 large onions, finely sliced
> 1 large tomato, finely chopped
> 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
> 2 green chillies, slit lengthwise
> 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
> 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
> 1/2 tsp pepper powder
> 1½ tsp sugar
> 1 tbsp white vinegar
> 1 tsp lemon juice
> 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
> Salt to taste
> Oil for frying
How to do it:
> In a pan, heat a little oil. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Once it begins to turn brown in colour, add the onions and fry until translucent.
> Add in the tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
> Add in all the spices, salt, and sugar along with the clams. Mix well. Cover and cook.
> When done, add in vinegar and lemon juice. Garnish with coriander leaves.
> Serve warm with dinner roll or bun.
