Milad Al Nabi holiday for public, private sectors

(Wam) / 16 January 2013

Ministries and federal departments will remain closed on Thursday, 12th of Rabi Al Awwal, 1434 Hijri, corresponding to 24th of January, 2013, to mark Milad Al Nabi, the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The circular is issued by Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

Al Qattami extended greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, people of the UAE and Muslim countries all over the world on the auspicious occasion.

Also a paid holiday has been declared for the private sector on 12th, Rabi Al Awwal, 1434 H, corresponding to January 24th, 2013 to mark Milad Al Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash made the announcement in a ministerial decision.

Ghobash on the auspicious occasion extended greetings to the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates and the people of UAE.
