President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory cable to Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, on winning the presidential elections.His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also dispatched a similar cable to the Somali President.
Meanwhile, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent a congratulatory cable to the Somali President on his winning the presidential elections.
President Mahmoud, 56, was elected by the Somali Parliament on Monday.
