Indian and Pakistani troops on Monday greeted each other and exchanged sweets on the occasion of Eid on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir.
A Border Security Force (BSF) source said the meeting took place at the Octroi Post in R.S. Pura sector in Jammu district.
BSF Company Commander Ramesh Yadav and five other personnel and Inspector Muhammad Younis and five colleagues of Pakistan Rangers participated in the event, the source said.
"From Pakistan's side, four packets of sweets were offered and we gave three packets to the Rangers. The two sides also greeted each other," the source added.
