Navdeep Singh Suri, India's Ambassador to the UAE, greeted the nation in Arabic on the occasion of its National Day.
In a video message in Arabic, released by his office, Suri said: "On the occasion of the 46th National Day of the UAE, I extend my warmest wishes to our friends in the United Arab Emirates and its leadership..."
Apart from this, in his official message, he said, "India and UAE have a unique strategic partnership one that transcends traditional ties between governments one that transcends links of defense and security trade and investment.
"In the next few months we are going to see India as the Guest of Honour of the World Government Summit in Dubai , we are going to see India as the Guest of Honour of Abu Dhabi Festival in March and we are going to see a number of high level visits taking place between the two sides.
"I am sure that in the coming year, we are going to see a remarkable new energy and a new momentum in this unique relationship. Best wishes to our Friends!"
