Shashi Tharoors home burgled, Modis gift stolen

Indian MP Shashi Tharoor's Delhi house was broken into last November 29th and precious valuables have been reported missing ranging from idols to antiques and even cooper spectacles that are said to be Gandhi's glasses which was a gift to Tharoor by PM Modi.
The MP reported the crime to the police and investigation is underway.
An employee of the MP's Lodhi Road residence was surprised to see that locks of Tharoor's office broken.
Police are already speculating that the thieves may have climbed the low wall of his residence to gain access.
Among the items stolen were an antique idol and Gandhi's copper glasses. Six other idols from Tharoor's temple within his compound were also reported missing.
Police have already intensified patrols on the road at night following the incident.
