Residents here will be able to enjoy the essence of entertainment, culture, hospitality and business opportunities that Dubai has to offer at a festival that begins on Wednesday.
The five-day Dubai Festival kicks off at the MMRDA Grounds at the Bandra-Kurla Complex, featuring desert safaris, interactive events, live shows and cultural events.
Organised by Hungund Events and Entertainment, the festival will capture the pulsating and dynamic spirit of Dubai. There will be dedicated zones for food, fashion, electronics, jewellery, wellness, tourism, amusement, education and real estate.
"The five-day festival will include the best of Dubai in Mumbai," says Mohammad Kaif, managing director, Hungund Entertainments. "The festival will be spread over 10,500 square metres allowing us to give a platform for both B2B and B2C commercial and trade exchange.
The festival has been organised to provide opportunities tailored to meet the market needs. "We aim to bring an extravaganza of culture, trade, entertainment, food and tourism to Mumbai," he added.
According to Kulwant Singh, president, Indian Business Profession Council, Dubai, and managing director, Lama Tours, trade between the UAE and India has been growing over the years.
