The story of a non-resident Bangladeshi family establishing and running the famed perfume company Al Haramain and its successful subsidiaries
"We rescued the infant, Heena, from Loni in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh within six hours of her kidnapping, before she could be sacrificed for witchcraft," Khajuri Khas Assistant Commissioner of Police Narendra Chawla told IANS.
On April 14, the girl's father Shan Mohammad complained that his brother-in-law Asif had kidnapped his daughter.
"Asif, 23, admitted to his crime during questioning. He said he handed over the baby girl to Mohammad Dilshad, 30, and Mohammad Illyas, 35, after taking Rs.40,000 from them to provide a child for sacrifice," the ACP said.
The two accused, Dilshad and Illyas, are respectively residents of Dehra Kutti in Hapur and Ghaziabad.
