A nine-month-old baby's finger was severed due to the negligence of the caretakers at a day care centre in Gurgaon, her mother has alleged.
In a Facebook post, the mother Bhawna Rastogi has shared that the toddler's ring finger was caught in between the door while the maid was changing her diaper. In a heart-wrenching post, she says, "As I write this post, my baby lies beside me with her left arm immobilised and her left hand ring finger amputated as the Intellitots maid apparently shut the door on my daughter while changing the diaper as her finger got caught between the door."
When the parents demanded the CCTV footage, they were told there is no CCTV footage available around the time of the accident. "The CCTV got accidentally unplugged and only for that time when this happened, there is NO footage available !! They are clearly hiding the real incident and now withholding evidence!"
