A 22-year-old UK woman rejected a job offer citing the CEO bullied and intimidate her in a grueling two-hour interview.
Olivia Bland took to Twitter to share the ordeal she went through while appearing for a job interview earlier this week. Bland met the CEO Craig Dean of travel software firm, Web Applications UK, regarding an assistant position.
Although the young applicant got the job, she turned down the offer and described on Twitter a "brutal" interview with Dean calling Bland an "underachiever", the Cosmopolitan reported.
Bland told the BBC that Dean made fun of her music choices on Spotify, asked "a lot of personal questions", and ripped apart everything from what she wrote on her job application to her body language. Bland posted on Twitter her rejection to the job offer and noted the interview made her so "uncomfortable" that she ended up crying at the bus stop afterward.

Bland's tweet read: 'There is something very off to me about a man who tries his best to intimidate and assert power over a young woman'. She added that being with Dean reminded her of being with her abusive ex. The post has since gone viral and amassed more than 35,000 retweets.
The viral tweet also caught attention of the company's board of directors who issued a statement noting that it had conducted an internal investigation and found "no bullying or intimidation occurred".
In the battle between Bland and the company, Bland responded to the company's tweet and wrote: 'This isn't good enough'. She added that she's been getting "death threats and hateful messages" since her tweet started went viral.
While the Manchester Evening News reported that Dean himself took to Twitter to offer his thoughts. "I am so sorry that anyone has been hurt, it is never my intent," he wrote, citing the hubbub has left him "sleep-deprived and anxiety-ridden".
