To teach her children the value of money, Shaketha Marion McGregor from Georgia, US, created a job listing that included 'Kitchen Manager', 'Lead Housekeeper' and 'Laundry Supervisor'.
The mother from Dublin in Georgia, US, shared on Facebook how her children keep demanding things and how she came up with the idea to teach them to earn things instead.
McGregor wrote on Facebook: 'So, my children continue to ask for a new cell phone, an allowance, and to go places. Yesterday I told them that I've heard their requests and that I'll have a surprise for them today when they get home from school'.

McGregor's surprise for her children was actually a 'hiring event' she set up at home.
The mother posted pictures of a flyer that read 'Now Hiring' along with job opportunities involving regular household chores. Not only this, McGregor also shared an application form her children can fill up and introduced a "Mom's Credit Union" as well, reported HT.
The post on Facebook seems to have struck a chord with other parents as it has collected over 2 lakh reactions and more than 1.2 lakh shares since being shared on August 13.
One Facebook user wrote: 'This is fantastic! Gonna pass this creative/educational idea along', while another wrote: 'Ma'am, you're on your way to raising yourself some good kids. I wish more parents would follow your lead'!
