Mercedes College enjoys a reputation for academic excellence and of educating young people to serve as school and community leaders. The College has specialist facilities for technology, science, drama, music, art and sport on its spacious, park-like campus
located, only 15 minutes from either the city centre, white sandy beaches or the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Established in 1954 the school has been welcoming international students to study, for over 25 years. Mercedes College offers academic achievement and personal growth with a curriculum that has an international focus and senior students can study the International Baccalaureate Diploma, or the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Both are a pathway to University.

A new state-of-the-art building is to be opened late in 2007, further enhancing the already excellent facilities at the school. With dedicated Accommodations Coordinator, International Students program Director, and International Business Development Co-ordinator on staff to assist students, Mercedes College provides personal support and counselling as well as guidance with academic courses, tertiary and career choices, and visa/government liaison. Mercedes College has developed a strong commitment and involvement in international education for over 25 years through:
