Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme launches new e-services

DUBAI - The Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme has launched a number of new e-services at the current Gitex Technology Week, which ended on Thursday in Dubai.

The Programme’s participation in the biggest and most eagerly awaited technology show in the Middle East is upon directives from Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme to forge and promote strategic partnerships with local and federal bodies in order to exchange expertise and knowledge.

Executive Director of Support Services at the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme Mohammed Abdul Aziz Jasem  stressed the body’s keen interest in taking an active part in the global event which provides a platform for major technology corporations, organisations and entities.

He noted that 100 per cent of the services provided by the Programme have been digitised. The Programme now considers the digitisation of also all additional services, Al Jasim added.

Around 50 e-services related to applicants, beneficiaries, contractors and strategic partners are now provided to customers of  the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme, according to Al Jasem.

The strategic services which were put on display by the Programme at Gitex for the first time include refreshing data on applications for housing aid provided, inquiry about the categorisation of contractors and consultants, displaying details on progress made at the beneficiary’s project, online direct technical support, communication with the technical team to report any difficulties uses might face and the e-file service for all parties .
