The trains have very distinctive colours. The exterior is blue and silver with pixilation while the interiors have an aqua blue theme.

The trains that will be delivered to Dubai will have five cars each that can accommodate 643 passengers. The train is assembled with one Gold Class and Women and Children cabin located at the front followed by four Silver Class.

The colour schemes have been developed by an international interior firm in association with Japanese train industrial designers.

Passengers in the Gold Class Car will experience a luxurious interior with full leather wider seats and a panoramic view through the front window of the train. With just 18 seats, this exclusive cabin is finished in blue/aqua colours and is complemented by exclusive lighting design.

One part on the Dubai Metro is reserved to be used exclusively by women and children. The car features a distinctive ‘pixel’ pattern echoing the design of the exterior of a car and utilises a fresh turquoise colour palette that runs through the floor, wall and ceiling of the car. Space provision for strollers and bags has been provided to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for women and children traveling on the Dubai Metro.

Comprising of four cabins, the Silver cabin is the largest compartment on the trains and the interior has been finished in a combination of blues and greens, again echoing the ‘pixel’ pattern of the train exterior. Seating is arranged in a variety of ways giving passengers the choice between admiring panoramic views from the windows or discussions with friends. Numerous handholds provide a secure grip for standing passengers.

In all cabins, there are reserved wheelchair spaces for wheelchair users' and priority seating for the elderly/injured people/people with special needs and pregnant women.

Clear visual display and audio announcements are available on the train to serve different categories of people especially those with special needs. Clear signage will show the route map of the metro and variety of safety devices, including CCTV in all cars, these features will ensure safe and comfortable journey for all.
