The Operations Room of the Civil Defence received information at 3pm that a fire had erupted in the warehouse. Fire brigades from Al Barsha and Al Qouz civil defence rushed to the site and managed to bring the fire under control by 4.18pm. The warehouse was damaged, but the brigades prevented the fire from spreading to the building material factory, and no one was injured. The operation was led by Major Rashid Al Bufalsa, Major Ali Hassan and Major Abdul Rahman Balshalat.
