e-Detonators in Camel Races Land Two in Dock

AL AIN - Al Ain Court of First Instance on Thursday sentenced a man to three months in prison for hiding electric detonators in robot camel jockeys with the intention of boosting the camels in races. The court also ordered that he be deported after the completion of the prison term.A 16-year-old has also been sentenced to one month in juvenile care home for the same crime. The court also ordered that the camel be seized from its owner. The detonators were placed inside the robot jockeys to enhance the speed of the camels, in violation of the existing law.
